A vast territory where nature is part of everyday life. Some 22,000 lakes, forests as far as the eye can see, star-filled skies. Paddle at dawn, dance at a festival in the afternoon and end your day with a plate of local flavours. Abitibi-Témiscamingue is also artists, entrepreneurs, familiar faces. Its culture is rich, vibrant, generous and just a little bit festive. For some, it’s too much. For others, it’s an invitation to explore.
