As the colours begin to show, what could be better than a hike to fill your eyes with beautiful scenery and your lungs with fresh autumn air? Boasting over 1,000 km of trails, the Townships are the perfect backdrop for a fall stroll! The Mégantic, Ham, Owl’s Head, Orford and Bromont mountains are just some of the twenty or so peaks you can climb to challenge yourself against a backdrop of brilliant hues. And if you prefer flat terrain – flat but certainly not boring! – the region also offers a host of trails lined with streams, ponds and pretty waterfalls that are accessible to hikers of all levels.
