Along the Magog River gorge, the walk becomes a captivating journey through time. Radcliff is an immersive audio‑theatre experience inspired by real events, revisiting a dark chapter of Sherbrooke’s history at the turn of the 20th century. After downloading the app, you choose your character — Béa, Kidman, or Sister Marie — before beginning the route at Porte des Fabriques.
With headphones on, you follow in the footsteps of John Radcliff, an executioner known for his frequent use of hanging, during a time when Prison Winter (1869–1990) loomed large over the city. Clues scattered along the walk advance the story, transforming the promenade into a haunting and immersive narrative investigation.
Sherbrooke is a prime destination for golfers, with a total of five beautiful courses. One was recognized by several golf magazines as one of the best semi-private golf courses in Quebec, another is the oldest 9-hole course in Canada, and a third one offers a breathtaking view with 36 holes to play. Sherbrooke is home to 19 life-sized murals, making it a true open-air art gallery. These frescoes grace the downtown landscape, telling stories of the culture and people that shaped the city. Sherbrooke boasts the largest collection of trompe-l’oeil murals in North America, which you can admire throughout the seasons.

The market is open on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., from June 6 to October 24, 2026.
On Fridays, the market is open between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., from June 19 to October 16, 2026. A local organic vegetable farm also sells its harvest on site
